CONFESSION: I'm in a parasocial relationship with Canva...

Obsessed with these covers! 😆
My dear Lennox Lovelies,
I've been having some fun bookish creativity over here, but it isn't writing... 👀👀👀
As most of you know, I design my own book covers. This is because I (a) fundamentally believe I can learn any skill myself like a delulu potato, and (b) have zero respect for my own time.
Kidding.
... Mostly. 😆
Truth be told, I've always had a little self-taught graphic design gremlin inside me (rawr), and I've let her out to play a bit more than usual lately. On a lark, I decided to start designing premade book covers and figured I'd share the product of my parasocial relationship with Canva.
Have a look at what I've made:

"BUT WHAT ABOUT GUS!?" I hear you shriek.
I promise I haven't forgotten about everyone's favorite hunky firefighter. Things are still happening with Gus and his lady love.
I do think having another creative outlet can be helpful in letting my subconscious process whatever needs processing, y'know? At least that's what I'm telling myself? *awkward laugh*
But honest: I did get some traction on writing last night and today, so obviously the creative juices are doing something rather... juicy. 😏
Sorry, I'll stop talking aboutjuices... Incidentally, someone in the wings keeps waving a giant hook around. Not sure what that's about.
ANYWAY...
Books Books Books!
Speaking of juicy (sorry, sorry, I can't be stopped), check out these romances for some fresh TBR meat:
[Cover of Dancing Around This by Miley Howard: Off my Feet Series #1]
He’s the irritable CEO. She’s his sassy assistant.
The attraction between Amelia Sinclair and her boss, Alex Delgado, is instant, but each believes it’s one-sided so they fight their feelings.
Until one late night in his office… But when he calls it a mistake, she does what anyone would: she runs.
Catching the first flight home, Amelia is ready to use her best friend's wedding as the perfect distraction to take her mind off the man who broke her heart. Surrounded by family, friends, and a never-ending list of wedding tasks, it works.
That is, until he shows up to give the bride away.
Filled with regret after chasing off the only woman he's ever loved, Alex has no idea where to find her. The last place he expects to see her again is at his daughter's wedding on the other side of the country.
Somehow, they missed all the threads connecting them outside of their business relationship. Now, they’re pretending to be strangers while constantly being thrown together by the one person they’re both there to support.
Despite the complications of their intertwined lives, Alex is desperate and ready to fight for a second chance. But Amelia is determined to hate him so he can’t hurt her again.
Will Alex be able to prove he loves her and that their connection is worth the risk? Or will Amelia's walls and fear keep them apart for good?
NASA astronaut Julie Starr knows nothing worth having comes without blood, sweat, and frizzy hair. Fresh back from orbit and aiming to become the youngest Flight Commander ever, she’s not about to let a stalker—or a grumpy Texas cowboy—slow her down.
Holt West runs his family ranch with military precision and zero tolerance for trouble. And Julie Starr is nothing but trouble—long-legged, sharp-tongued, and impossible to ignore.
When they’re thrown together as maid of honor and best man, sparks fly faster than a rocket launch. She’s chasing stars. He’s rooted in the soil. But when gravity takes over, their worlds might just collide in the best possible way.
Space Cowgirl is perfect for fans of Tessa Bailey, Pippa Grant, and Meghan Quinn—a hot, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy packed with grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, opposites attract, and fish-out-of-water tropes, plus a side of NASA nerdiness, wedding shenanigans, and and instant-attraction-meets-emotional-ignition chemistry that’s totally worth the reentry.
May your book boyfriends always indulge your hyperfocus of the moment and remind you to eat thinking cookies (and, y'know, actual nutrition too. And water.)

Plotting and scheming My Lennox Lovelies, I'm in that season of "between books" and sometimes it's hard to know what to share with you beautiful humans. The truth is, I've been getting into the weeds with book four and it's been fun but slow-going. I'm working at the ol' day job a bit more since January, and I don't have as much time (or brains) to devote to writing as I wish I had! That, combined with *gestures at everything* is a bit of a drag. Creativity is hard to really tuck into right...
