It's been EVENTful (get it?)

Dearest Lovelies,

It's motherfucking DECEMBER (!!) and I feel like I'm still spinning from last month! In whatever way things are chilling out after Sweet Caroline and Mistletoe Moments came out, they are ramping right back up with the holidays!

I participated in a fun local event full of bookish loveliness yesterday, Table of Contents' Sip & Shop Social here in Victoria, BC. There were a few of us local authors and some other fun bookish vendors, as well as flash tattoos, drinks, and snacks... it was wonderful.

Connecting with local readers in my community was so dreamy, and I met some absolute gems -- some for the first time and some familiar faces! Special shout-out to my lovely table-mate, Vanessa Chase, whose debut (The Place We Begin) just came out Nov 13!

I have to say, I also received one of the coolest gifts I've been given by a reader: a hand-sewn custom bag made by the lovely (and probably superhuman) Karia Kauk! LOOK AT ITTTTT! She picked the fabrics to match the cover of Sweet Caroline! Isn't it incredible!!? It has pockets inside and out, an inner draw-string liner, and even a clip to keep your keys on! I'm so touched Karia took the time to make this for me. Like, whoa. Wow. Bananas. It's stunning.

2026 Events!

In more event-y news, I will be a signing author at two events in the first half of 2026.

Bonded and Enchanted (Victoria, BC 🇨🇦) Mar 21

Romance Invades the Canadian Rockies (Banff, AB 🇨🇦) May 23

I'm so look forward to both and hope to see some of you at one or the other (or both, maybe)!!

Up next on your TBR

Here are some new romance reads to check out!

K.M. Davidson: Sundered Heavens

Blurb:

Ten Gods rule the Eonia Realm together-but a prophecy is about to change everything.

When a vision foretells the extinction of every Being on Aveesh, Asteria is thrust back into the inner workings of the Gods-an arena she wants nothing to do with. As the Gods fracture into warring factions and an unknown illness spreads through the human villages, tensions rise, and the fragile balance between humans and powerful Beings teeters on the edge of collapse. Some whisper of prophecy, others of conspiracy, but one thing is certain: Aveesh stands on the precipice of chaos.

A powerful seer burdened by glimpses of the future, a queen caught between loyalty and survival, an immortal forced to reckon with the truth of her own destiny, and a goddess forced to stand as a mediator between warring immortals-all desperate to maintain balance. As Paths intertwine, their bonds and the foundations of immortality itself will be tested.

With Fate unraveling and betrayal lurking in every shadow, Asteria must decide what she's willing to risk to protect the world... and the man who is tempting her to leave it all behind.

Valerie Pepper: Worth the Try

Blurb:

Elodie Cole has always done the right thing. So why does her life feel like it’s falling apart?
Losing her job and her home in a matter of hours forces her to face a terrifying truth: being “nice” hasn’t protected her from anything. When she lands a temporary nanny job with Atlanta’s pro rugby captain, she vows to finally start choosing herself.

Ansel Miles is used to pressure.
As a single dad and team captain, he’s mastered the art of sacrifice. But when his carefully balanced life teeters on the edge, Elodie’s arrival feels like more than help – it feels like hope. For his daughter. For himself. For something he stopped believing in: a future built on joy instead of duty.

As the summer unfolds, their connection deepens from tentative trust to something that feels like home. But when a painful piece of Ansel’s past storms back in, threatening custody and exposing their relationship to the world, they’re forced to ask the hardest question of all: Is risking their hearts worth the try?

FROM THE AUTHOR: This is book one of a brand new rugby romance series. Featuring a single dad and nanny with a forced proximity trope, this book has high emotions, spicy scenes, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

Dani Galliaro: Burning Down the House

Blurb:

There’s a reason they call it “falling” in love.

A new mycological research development calls mushroom scientist Dr. Aria Johnson home to Foxboro, Ohio. Within minutes of her arrival, Aria falls on and concusses Brodie Campbell, her high school flame and now sworn enemy.

Brodie thinks he’s changed since high school, now serving as Foxboro’s fire captain and chief thirst trap maker—for charity, of course. Aria finds this hard to believe. She avoids Brodie like a poisonous mushroom and suppresses those hurtful memories.

Brodie does the opposite, doing anything to put himself in Aria’s path and prove who he is today.

As Aria settles back into town, she learns that Brodie’s not the boy she left behind, but instead, a pillar of the community who would do anything for anybody.

And when Foxboro’s charity date auction shines a spotlight on them both, all hands start burning to raise a paddle.

Can Brodie prove he’s the choice to pick, or will Aria douse the flames on their love forever?

💛💛💛💛💛

As always, here's where you can find my books.

May your book boyfriend lovingly rub your lower back while whispering absolute filth in your ear.

Bonded and Enchanted! My dear Lennox Lovelies, [Green and floral BAE sign at the entrance] I had such a great time at Bonded and Enchanted last weekend here in beautiful Victoria, BC 🇨🇦! Huge thanks to the organizer, Simoriah Graham, for such an enjoyable and smoothly run event! The volunteers were awesome and plentiful, and I had SUCH a blast connecting with so many readers, authors, and fellow bookish types of all sorts! Some beautiful highlights: chatting with fantastic narrator Felicity...

Obsessed with these covers! 😆 My dear Lennox Lovelies, I've been having some fun bookish creativity over here, but it isn't writing... 👀👀👀 As most of you know, I design my own book covers. This is because I (a) fundamentally believe I can learn any skill myself like a delulu potato, and (b) have zero respect for my own time. Kidding. ... Mostly. 😆 Truth be told, I've always had a little self-taught graphic design gremlin inside me (rawr), and I've let her out to play a bit more than usual...
