Shit is getting REAL over here. This draft is looking rather thiccccc lately, and I realized it was high time I shared a bit more with y'all since I'm approaching the home stretch. "The end" is in sight, so to speak.
I've hit the 83k+ word mark and still going strong. And by "strong" I mean low-key losing my mind and being high-key obsessed with this story, these characters, Gus' mustache, YOU GET IT. It's just the way of things at this stage.
So... here's your first look at the title of book 4!
*PLEASE DON'T SHARE UNTIL WEDNESDAY JUNE 24TH when I'll post the reveal on socials!*
Book 4 title reveal: PROUD MARY - coming late 2026
The mystery is finally over! Book 4's title is Proud Mary!
So, obviously, the title gives away the FMC's name: Mary!
💖 Mary and Gus 💖
Or Gus and Mary. Their cute couple name is either "Mus" or "Gary", so we're gonna have to workshop that 😅
And yes they sound like octogenarians, but don't worry, they know, and they will make fun of themselves for that. (That's an HB guarantee!)
I am so excited to finally be able to use this title more openly (calling it 'book 4' has been such a drag)! I'll get the Amazon listing updated in the next couple of days, but did you know you can already pre-order PROUD MARY!?
Pre-orders are a huge way to help indie authors like me (if you can swing it) and I would be so delighted if you could show your love this way! And if $ support isn't possible, don't worry, because I still deeply appreciate everything you do to spread the word about my books and hype me up to your romance-loving pals!
THANK YOU!!!!
Highly specific beta readers needed!
To make sure Proud Mary is the best story it can be, I'm looking for subject matter experts who can provide feedback on the technical aspects of being a firefighter and/or a tattoo artist. So reply back or send me a DM if that might be you or someone you can connect me with! And feel free to share my Thread calling for these specific beta readers if you need something easy and shareable.

When fate throws them back together, the pull between them proves impossible to ignore. Beneath old wounds and unspoken truths lies a love neither of them ever truly left behind.
Loving him once broke her heart.

ARC SIGN-UPS ARE OPEN! 🎉 My lovely babes! Today's the DAY! You've read the blurb, you've seen the tropes, and now you can SIGN UP FOR AN ARC! 🏃♀️ [ARC readers wanted for Proud Mary by Hannah Brixton - trope graphic] Apply for an ARC! Proud Mary is unique in my series in that it overlaps in timeline with Sweet Caroline (well, it has a more substantial overlap than the tiny one between Hey Jude/Jesse's Girl, anyway). In fact, it picks up in the middle of Miles' struggle with depression (and...
